T-34 Subtitle Chile
T-34
In 1944, a courageous group of Russian soldiers managed to escape from German captivity in a half-destroyed legendary T-34 tank. Those were the times of unforgettable bravery, fierce fighting, unbreakable love, and legendary miracles.
The Great Patriotic War is going on. Junior Lieutenant Nikolay Ivushkin in a small truck, along with the driver Vasya, barely survived, break away from the German tank. Ivushkin arrives at the headquarters located in the village of Nefyodovka, where he is appointed commander of the only surviving tank. Soon the tanks of the German Hauptmann Klaus Jger arrive at the site. In battle, Ivushkin destroys the entire tank company of Yager (in a number of cases, with one projectile, two tanks at a time). However, the T-34 has serious damage, and Klaus destroys it. Ivushkin and mechanic-driver Stepan Vasilyonok were wounded and captured.

I found this to be a well produced yarn. My only gripe was the mad idea by some producer or other to dub over the Russian actors, while subtitling the german tank crews. Not only was it dubbed, it was appaling cod americaneese with unrussian responses like "Sir, yes sir!" Perhaps they weren't russian tank crews at all, maybe the Soviet army was made up of navy seals. One russian even said to another "just you cool it". Was the dubbing crew drunk or just vandals. I nearly deleted my sky rental of this movie because of this but stuck with it as it is a tight, if unlikely thrilling yarn.
